It's Time To Find a Book!
The library will be open starting June 30 from 11-6 pm through Thursday. It will be closed Saturday for the July 4 holiday and then resume regular hours for following week. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic some restrictions will apply. Masks are required. The number of patrons will be limited at any given time to support social distancing and computer time will be limited to one hour per patron each day. Newspapers will not be available for the time being. So, come on in! Please stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you.
Summer Reading Program Online While it's not possible right now to conduct in-person programs, the Summer Reading Program will be available online this year. Ask at the circulation desk for details.
We're Glad to Be Back! And we're looking forward to receiving donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs. If you've used some of your down time to clean out your bookcases and closets the Friends are happy to take your used but serviceable items. We sell your donations and use the revenue to pay for new book acquisitions and library equipment and programs. Of course we're also happy to receive cash donations. Please note, we cannot accept damaged items or books without covers. Think of it this way - if you wouldn't buy it, we probably can't sell it.
Digital Resources While the county branch libraries are closed you can still read. Did you know you can download books from the County's digital collection onto your tablet? You can also access many of the County's online databases and get a digital library card. Don't miss out. Visit our How To page for directions. You can also visit the County Library site for more information at http://www.sbclib.org/ResearchandContent.aspx.
